Melvyn Evans/Dorian Evans took a dominant victory in their two-litre Escort on Lampeter MC's first running of the Rali Dyffryn Aeron.
The 100 mile route used the maze of lanes between Aberaeron and Lampeter to fully tests the entry of 60 crews.
Evans had a 30 second lead at Petrol, but a clean run through the second half saw them stretch their victory margin to almost two minutes by the Finish.
The runners up were the husband and wife team of Nigel Davies/Karen Davies, who shamed many more powerful cars in their 1300cc Escort. Gethin Lewis/Aled Jones finished in third, making it an Escort 1-2-3.
Clive Williams/Patrick Walsh were in the running in their standard 1300cc Fiesta but had to withdraw after picking up more punctures than they had spares. Glyn Evans/Dilwyn John were the second fastest crew around the route with Huw James/Deian Rees third, unfortunately both missed the same code board, the resulting fail demoting them to 15th and 16th respectively at the end.
The Semi-Expert award went to Adrian Davies/Mark Jones who were 11th overall, while the Novice class was won by Jeremy Davies/Meredith Davies in 19th place. There were only 32 finishers.
