Winners: Richard Endean/Kevin Wills (Peugeot 205)
Richard Endean/Kevin Wills were declared the winners of the Harvest Road Rally on engine capacity after seven crews cleaned the South Hams MC event.
Competitors had tackled an extremely slippery 150 mile route in the Totnes and Kingsbridge areas.
Despite these conditions seven crews ended the rally without any penalties and the tie breaker had to be used. Endean’s 205 narrowly beating Alyson Acreman’s Honda Civic.
Paul Watts/Jamie Watts dropped just one minute to finish eighth, a notable achievement on what was the crew’s first full night event.
Wes Massam/Shon Gosling were the first historic home in ninth, while the top ten was rounded off by Nigel Nelson/Martin Saunders who had been delayed when a hose split.
Top seeds Nick Evans/Andy Oakes finished in sixteenth place having spent eight minutes in a field.
Clive Bayliss/David Powell were one of the few retirements, running out of fuel before reaching Petrol.
