Winners: Alyson Acreman/Byron Jones (Subaru Impreza)
Alyson Acreman/Byron Jones took their newly acquired Subaru Impreza to victory in the sometimes treacherously icy lanes of East and Mid-Devon. They finished three minutes ahead of the remainder of the field, in a disappointingly small 14 car entry. The result puts them in a healthy lead in the ASWMC Navigational Championship after two rounds.

A lowest engine capacity tie breaker had to be used to determine the runner up spot - Mike Quinnell/Tom Jeffies took the position over Richard Cann/Mark Sheppard, both crews having finished with four minutes of penalties.
Another tie for sixth place was resolved in Jim Cassidy/Nigel Hewett's favour on the furthest clean principle.
The only retirement of the night was a significant one, Mark Butler/Peter Barnard went out when their Peugeot 205 drowned out in a ford. Up until that point they'd shared the lead with Acreman/Jones, both crews having been clean of any penalties until then.
The event was notable for an incident that happened at around Midnight when a man started shooting at passing rally cars with a shotgun. A number of cars were damaged, one with pellet shots to the navigator's door. The man was arrested the following morning. In September 2006 Robin Litchfield was sentenced to 15 months in jail after pleading guilty to a charge of possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of unlawful violence and six charges of damaging property.
